"Chris Hedges has deserted the U.S. working class"

I've lived in or near the poverty line my entire adult life. You're a troll, not a contrarian.

A troll? ... so I'm just here for the hell of it, right?

Please tell me, what is your definition of a "troll"?

I'm an independent progressive just like Hedges once was ...

And having followed him so closely for the past decade with great admiration, it was impossible not notice a polar sift in his commitment to the U.S. working class since the lockdowns ... he has broken several key promises to us since then and really I'm pissed-off about another self-centered millionaire's decision to abandon the people who gave him a career ...

Only hindsight proved you right. Many people I knew early on thought we didn't go far enough. The CDC making the mistake many in science do, a guess is not a fact of science. What should have happened, everyone over the age of 80 and anyone over 60 in poor health should have been protected with those options. Deaths would have been a few percent of what they were. Closing down countries a tragic mistake. We will most likely find out about abusing the vaccine as well, my guess.
