Yes Bob, this is true ...

But I ask you, what would be wrong with Hedges alternating his commentary between the plight of the Palestinians and how this conflict is specifically affecting the U.S. working class? ... Wouldn't such an approach make more sense?

Americans are profoundly uneducated. There in lies the problem. 80%of the population thinks there were only two buildings that fell on 9/11. The obvious significance escapes them. Now, most couldn't find Israel or Gaza on a map, nor do they care!

The public have been systematically dis-educated ever since, after the first baby boomers graduated from American universities as the best-educated generation the world had ever seen, and enough of them started asking the right questions, to scare the bejesus out of the ownership class. The oligarchs been on the warpath ever since, to have micro-control of what can and cannot be taught at all levels. What we see today is the result.

Yes Bob ...

And if you haven't already done so, you might ask yourself why Hedges is doing this? ... Why is he reluctant to make hard connections between war funding and it's specific affects on the U.S. working class ... I've made the point here many times in recent weeks that the the unemployed, divorced mother of 4 never gives a thought to Assange, Gaza or CIA corruption - and Hedges knows it! ... Hedges is just another cynical speculator in the independent media business ... and his cult members continue to all fall in line here like clapping seals begging for Hedges to spoon-feed them their weekly dose of darkness.

Your solution is? Perhaps you should further explain the solution. Perhaps funding the homeless, unemployed mothers, the elderly, might be a better idea than terrorizing the world with 850 foreign military bases, aircraft carriers, misfiles, bombs and nuclear weapons. Hedges has tried to educate people for years, it's hopeless. Your turn, do better, enlighten the world , especially the tyrants! Start here please....

Yes, a great start. Unfortunately I would bet they would install those additional bases here in the u.s. ,build many more Cop Cities. I like the no standing army in the Constitution : ) Smart Racist People they were on a number of issues.

Yes Bob ... thanks for making my point ...

I know what the solution is and I agree with your suggestions ...

So please tell me, why would you not expect Hedges to makes these connections? ... why are you inclined to give him a pass? ... I have made the point here several times that Hedges commentary would be greatly appreciated by "we the people" here in the U.S. if he routinely made these connections ... but no, we are no longer on his radar, not since the lockdowns ...

I really do NOT know, why you are still here ... I am certainly no cult member and I am MOST DEFINITELY appalled at the situation in the 'wonderful' USA (poverty everywhere, infrastructure crumbling ... the LIST IS ENDLESS - what do you want Mr Hedges to do? He suggested many times OUR OPTIONS - as long as there are NOT MILLIONS in EVERY CITY on the streets NOTHING will change or happen, the good citizens will get 4 more years of 2 disgusting grandpa's)

Hedges has given up on us, so here's what I want to see him do:

1) Rather than making two posts per week on Gaza here on Substack, I'd like to see him alternate his commentary by devoting one per week on the Gaza genocide and another regular weekly piece on the SPECIFIC areas of suffering by the U.S. working class ... I trust you notice, he hasn't had much to say about the plight of the U.S. working class since the lockdowns, and virtually nothing since OCT 7th.

2) If he chooses to ignore us, then I challenge him to establish a Gaza support fund ... he has 60k SUBs here on Substack, most which I'm willing to bet have never even heard of Anera.org ... such a project would turn the growing public awareness into badly needed financial support ... gosh, has he even mentioned anera.org?

3) Start to cover the affects of COVID tyranny on the U.S. working class on a regular basis ...

4) If and when he decides to comment on other issues, I'd like to see him abandon his divisive rhetoric on the supposed danger posed by TRUMP-MAGA types and directly confront the real enemy - the World Economic Forum, and call-out the perpetrators by name ...

5) This would be huge ... I'd like to see Hedges do regular interviews with level-headed red-voice types like JD Rucker, Mike Adams and big name populists voices like Tucker Carlson.

6) Write a new book that describes a model for rebuilding American Society after the coming economic collapse ...

7) Jump into the conversation on the amendments to the WHO pandemic treaty ... with the WHO's agenda being a bit wobbly lately, the timing would be perfect ...

8) Let him engage in some true acts of leadership for the first time since he directly confronted Obama in 2012 on the amendments to SECTION 1021 of the NDAA. That was an awesome piece of badly needed activism, that was Hedges at his best!

And now, you are free to bury me with excuses on why just "can't" do any of these ...
