Mr. Hedges, yours is a most interesting hegira. As the NYTimes sinks into the mire of mediocrity and irrelevance your work has become increasingly important and valuable. It may be painful to be shut off from one venue after another; for now the audience size reflects the diminishing intelligence and morality of the general society. But your integrity and tenacity keep the spirit alive, and are appreciated. This may sound like a fan letter, but really it’s meant more as an affirmation of solidarity and hope. We are all in this together, even if we’re together in a leaky lifeboat on a very troubled sea.
Thank you for starting up again. Your honesty, independence and compassion is invaluable to people in Gaza and for all of us outside trying to make sense of this utterly devastating horror. 🙏
Your talks and writings have been a refuge of sanity for me in the last few years... since I have encountered your work. I am delighted to be able to support it and will continue to do so. Thank you!
Thank you so much, Chris, for keeping the Gazans/Palestines and their ongoing unspeakably horrific situation and suffering alive and in our hearts during all this daily barrage of white election noise drowning them and what's truly important out, disappearing them! It means so much!!! I'm so glad your show is resuming,
I’m watching Chris’ Q&A from last night. Important insights as always. Hedges has been a most important educator for me. Though I found other critics, dissidents, thinkers interesting , Hedges has a way of a good teacher that reaches the students, or for me and those like me, at least. I’ve tried to pass on his lessons to my university educated liberal relatives. It’s very strange that they barely grasp it, or don’t seem to value it the way I do. I think the harsh reality of what he speaks of is just too painful for them. They put up a wall and refuse to allow much in.
We are grateful that there are powerful voices of compassion and reason like yours. Can't wait for this new chapter to begin! Thanks Mr. Hedges for all you do.
This is why I subscribe to Chris Hedges: because out here where life is living is where you will find him.
I think the majority of humans still have a moral compass, they'e just been driven off the "social" platforms by the echoing din of propaganda saturation.
The propaganda doesn't actually work except on those who, like the professional and volunteer propagandists themselves, think the "social" platforms are the real world.
The rest of us have to scratch for food and shelter in a global economy that requires poverty, aka "growth."
Chris Hedges, I am honored to continue supporting you as long as you find the strength to write, speak out, and educate. Individuals like you give me hope. I only wished that, instead of my tax dollars funding these acts of violence, they could be allocated to support individuals like you.
Glad to hear that subscriber funds allowed you to do so. It’s so important to share your work far and wide in these times of misinformation, disinformation and propaganda.

Very good news.
Looking forward to the interview w/Saif.
Do you mean 31 July? Tomorrow?
Yes. We fixed it Rosemary. Thanks.
Yes. I fixed the date.

Glad your show is resuming Chris. No one and nothing has stopped you before and I knew this would not be the first time!
Thank you for your incredibly important work.
Its the fight that matters and Mr. Hedges is proof of that. I dont want to live in a society where voices like Mr. Hedges cannot be heard!
