Listen now | Chris Hedges speaks with journalist and author Mark Kurlansky about living in the shadow of Ernest Hemingway and his new book The Importance of Not Being Ernest.
Mark's sound was incomprehensible throughout the interviews Please ask quests to speak directly into a mic. Thanks .
That’s a witty title. Oscar Wilde would approve.
I had no problem with the sound. Perhaps it has been dealt with.
To Mr. Hedges - Any way to obtain a transcript of this conversation? I am deaf and listening to these types of conversations are tough. Thanks.
Good writing is riddled with irony. The worm of existential truth will eat out the heart of fact to live forever.
It's a long way from "for whom the bell tolls"...

What a wonderful interview Chris.
Hemingway was a complicated man.
Those of us who loved his writing want to know more about him. Mark Kurlansky gave us some very good clues. Thanks to you both.
Mark's voice all wobble.
Yes, it is difficult to hear. I will read the book but couldn't hear this very well at all. I heard the Questions well enough, but not the answers.
