Universal health care is a no brained as is deprivitizing the health care system. The majority of Americans are on board... Where are our representatives.

While in the hospital for surgery earlier this year I spoke with all of my nurses and assistants. It was remarkable to me how many of these women were suffering from back pain. Ages ranged from 25 to 40 all had back pain on a daily basis, yet worked so hard to provide the best care they could.

Chris, I’m begging you -- don’t get distracted by a battle on the basis of MONEY and/or ISSUES, which will always win -- but focus like an effin laser on the singular and only STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE [Michael Porter HBS] of a winning STRATEGY -- which is only one thing -- “The Quiet American” duopoly of EMPIRE!

And all you hear from Americans is America is the best. You have to wait in line to see the doctor in foreign countries. Wait in line for 4 hours and pay less than $30. Or wait in line line for 20 minutes and pay $10,000....hhhmmmm let me see, which one is better?

Here, as elsewhere, it always circles back to the same reality. Here, for the nurses to win, they have to be ready to die. Or suffer greatly, during which they may yearn for death. I wish them well, but talk in a church basement will not do.
