What makes this different than Putin's murder of Navainy? Both Assange and Navainy were acting in a way that angered the power of the state, and both have and will die is prison. Oh, I know, one is Russia and one is the United States.
The differences between Navalny and Assange are that Navalny was actually killed, that Navalny was killed by the violent Soviet Empire, and that Assange is merely being imprisoned to death by “The Quiet American” Empire.
I thought the real reason Assange was prosecuted by America was what he released about Hillary Clinton, which, along with what Russian hackers came up with, looked to me gave the White House to Donald Trump.
