I am 75 and autistic. Every day brings new epiphanies. Today is no exception. The more I learn life is opening oneself to new understanding of the universe and the more I know the more I must learn. It is wonderful being a a child with boundless curiosity.

Eugene V Debs was my Father in Law's Godfather. Eugene V Debs went to prison for saying things like.

"I am opposing a social order in which it is possible for one man who does absolutely nothing that is useful to amass a fortune of hundreds of millions of dollars, while millions of men and women who work all the days of their lives secure barely enough for a wretched existence."

The master class has always declared the wars; the subject class has always fought the battles. The master class had all to gain and nothing to lose, while the subject class has had nothing to gain and all to lose - especially their lives.

Your Honor, years ago I recognized my kinship with all living beings, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on earth. I said then, and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.

If you go to the city of Washington, and you examine the pages of the Congressional Directory, you will find that almost all of those corporation lawyers and cowardly politicians, members of Congress, and misrepresentatives of the masses - you will find that almost all of them claim, in glowing terms, that they have risen from the ranks to places of eminence and distinction. I am very glad that I cannot make that claim for myself. I would be ashamed to admit that I had risen from the ranks. When I rise it will be with the ranks, and not from the ranks.

The American people can have anything they want; the trouble is, they don't know what they want.

La plus ca change. La plus la meme chose.

Here in Quebec Julian Assange is a hero.

Ronald Wilson Reagan is Judas Iscariot he sold out a country for thirty pieces of silver.

They don't teach Debs in Florida Texas or California. Liberal democracy is again unAmerican.

In 1964 Ronald Wilson Reagan said liberal democracy is America's worst nightmare.

In 1964 I was sixteen and America beckoned in 2003 I return to freedom and democracy.

Quebec had a revolution and so did America.

I prefer freedom and democracy and an independent media.

I remember 1964. I remember Schwerner , Goodman and Cheney, I remember The Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act. I know Reagan was made governor of California by Fred C Koch's John Birch Society. That is my understanding of history but nobody listens to people with autism ask Greta Thunberg she is Quebec's Joan of Arc. Jeanne D'Arc is a literary masterpiece by Mark Twain the great 19th century Western Socratic philosopher and close friend of Frederick Douglas and Petr Ilych Tchaikovsky.

It is all NewSpeak. I call it Liberal Democracy. Conservatives call it Socialism. Neoliberals call it democratic socialism. Chris Hedges should call it social democracy like it should be called in 2023.

John Saul Says "Neoliberalism is neither new nor liberal."

Nobody wants to be antiSocial except many of the conservatives.

You can quote me without acknowledgement. I have enough and enough is a feast.

Eugene Debs was a believer in social democracy despite its many flaws Social Democracy believes in evolution just like Thomas Jefferson who said every generation needs to write its own constitution.

I am a very slow learner. Substack is difficult for six year olds but my wife taught me to read and write at 50. She is a philosopher with a doctorate in Education. She Specialized in cross cultural misunderstanding. She stresses the importance of teachers sharing the same cultural understanding as their students.. I read as an infant and was as American as apple pie. It just happened to be a Rainman with verbal skills and a genius at logic. They say I am a genius in linguistics and abstract math.

I've engaged in Socratic dialogue my whole life and was very lucky to find others who love Socratic philosophers.

I love Zizek and Pinker and Cheng and Stephen Fry and Chomsky and Yanis, and John Ralston Saul, and............................and Diogenes the Cynic. I love Zelensky when I saw him play piano he was just a cynic and now he is a Messiah. Truth is painful.

So many philosophers Ben Franklin and Voltaire and Jefferson.

I am partial to Twain and Orwell but Marx (Groucho) was a genius whom inspired Mel Brooks who is a cynic's cynic.

I hate Sophistry but love sophists I think America calls its great sophists lawyers. Antonin the Inquisitor Scalia was a brilliant Sophist I am sure we would have had great dialogues between curtains at the Opera. I love opera but I also love Johnny Cash. I love Willie Nelson and Kinky Friedman is my kind of singer songwriter and philosopher. I love this reading of on seeing a louse on a lady's bonnet in church.

Jefferson said every generation needs to write a new constitution. Jefferson believed in evolution. Philosophy is the study of evolution.

I thought Baseball, Apple Pie and motherhood would be a great blog title for my diary but my grandson grew up near Wrigley and he is a daddy.

As for me I am still a loonie or we say 75 cents US.

I remember my grandson growing up on street where I needed a sticker for my car bearing polar bear license plates when the Cubs played baseball. My grandson is a daddy and I love baseball but I can't bet on baseball it is played by humans.

I used to bake a great apple piev and my mother was very special she married my very special father. I am one lucky me.
