I watched this interview live on MOATS, and either way, this entire brouhaha has become merely a reason for us to fume, rage, wring our hands, in dismay. No matter where you look, podcasts show video of an arrogant Pam Bondi, deflecting obvious barbs about the FBI ignoring victims by raising her voice, either changing the subject, attacking over nonsequiturs, doing anything but addressing her failures. Unless she and Patel resign or are canned, all this becomes somewhat meaningless. And we all know the vanishingly small probability that any culpable billionaire will pay a real price. As Chris points out, pedophiia and sexual abuse in the US are rampant, so it's not like this is occurring against a resistant background. Israeli society is sick, but how much healthier are their sponsor Western societies?
Will they (the administration and Netanyahu) create another September 11th or October 7th in order to garner support for a war with Iran? And to distract from Trump’s other worries-Epstein, murdering civilians in the streets, failing economy?
I think patriarchy and the “father/God/Jesus knows best,” belief system gives the permission to own all the property and women and children are property and all the resources too in this mindset. The Save Act if passed will put women all the way back to 1950 (the overturning of Roe put us back to the 70s) and with women’s complete disenfranchisement, protections for children will also crumble. This frees up even the man without billions to “own” more and gives the power more squarely to do as he pleases. If he is depraved and warped, he has license. If the depravity we are seeing is any indication there is plenty more energy in that direction if women are oppressed. Our whole government structure is being trashed right now. Nothing is being reformed. We are so far beyond fixing things that have long needed fixing. The patriarchy has always fought reform—has been the sticking point forever. The patriarchy is trying to reassert full dominance. The smugness and arrogance of the people in patriarchy’s corner right now is astounding to me. Love is not part of this. Benevolence if we are lucky.
I cannot seem to e-mail Mr Hedges directly so I’ll post here about a broadcast I just heard on the BBC flagship current affairs radio program Any Questions on Radio 4 in the UK which may or may not be repeated unredacted tomorrow, 14 February from 1pm UK time. A questioner of the panel changed her invited question from that which was expected on the list to one in which she asked why the BBC couldn’t talk about the genocide in Gaza. The moderator immediately referred her back to the question on the list, instantly proving the questioner’s point. I wrote in as follows:
Sirs, the programme should be re-named "Preselected Questions" a practice for which we used to deride the Soviets, now made clear instantly to be at work in the BBC when the presenter in Dumbarton referred back exclusively to the question on the sheet when asked why the BBC won't talk about the genocide in Gaza. The truth of the questioner's proposition was proven in that moment. Brilliant radio. I suggest your editors look up the term ANY in a dictionary, and build it into the framework of your legal defence when your government sponsors come looking for you.

But the perpteuation of this sacred cow as a pillar of virtue infuriates me and it should infuriate you also ... I've got at least a dozen examples of duplicitous comments by this shape-shifting opportunist ...
After preaching direct confrontation to tyranny for the past 20 years and saying "the constitution remains a sacred document", he refused to stand with us against the illegal and unconstitutional mandates and passports ... and then, just 30 days after the explosive FDA FOIA release revealed 1,223 deaths and 25,000 medically verified injuries during the first 90 days of Fzr's trial, he said: "I don't think we can end the pandemic or the mutations until EVERYBODY gets vaccinated" ... so be aware that we're nothing more than clicks to this man, he does not give a hoot about us! ...

The victims are real, but Epstein seems to be a deepfake character. I wonder if the global elite are using these files for peer persuasion.
