Trump's On a Jihad Against Everyone (MOATS w/ George Galloway)
His megalomania has no limits, says Pulitzer prizewinner Chris Hedges. The Hormuz blockade is more bluster than reality. And how Iran has the capacity to cast the world into a global depression.
I'm not a virologist or pathologist and it's probably reasonable to claim that few, ( including Chris Hedge's ), in this comment space are.
Biological systems are extremely complex. It is anything but black and white.
For example consider allergies. For some peanuts can be ingested as a source of protein with no detrimental effects. For others it is an instantaneous and lethal gamble.
It's a messy world.
Chris Hedge's is aware that presenting "reality"...as in truth...as he does, is a dangerous affair.
For that matter, commenting here may eventually place a target on oneself.
Hedge's as a lobbyist for the pharmaceutical industry? Well there goes the neighborhood my friend, roll the credits and pull the curtains. It's time for everyone to go home.
The biological mass of densely populated humans is a niche waiting to be exploited by a variety of bacterial and viral forms. Humans are composed of ~35 trillion cells. Multiple that by millions of people in close proximity and the numbers are staggering.
Science, a methodology of probing the natural world, has revealed an astonishing array of mechanisms, patterns and the like.
At a subatomic level Newtonian physics are displaced by quantum mechanics.
In a similar fashion the cosmology of space with hundreds of billions of galaxies each containing hundreds of billions of stars, deviates from classical physics.
We exist in the middle ground between the atomic and cosmos. Yet we're composed of cells which are composed of atoms which are composed of protons, neutrons and electrons. Electrons are in many aspects, the final arbitrators of matter.
Somehow living systems are capable of self-organizing themselves into complex arrangements that can interact with the nonliving, replicate and evolve.
It's quite amazing.
Our civilization is an organization of disorder and industrialized destruction. Accellerated entropy is our collective stain.
Humans enjoy fanciful stories. Stories such as the universe was made specifically and exclusively for us.
We act as if our stories are in fact a reflection of reality. They are not.
In spite of our incredible intellect we have convinced ourselves that we can harvest the earth's natural resources to the end time, disregard the output of chemically rearranged compositions and substances, (pollution), engage in warfare to smooth out the undesirable, erect monuments to glorify ourselves and our vast achievements, colonize the solar system when supplies get low here on earth and preserve human consciousness.
Things are looking a little iffy for us and as Chris Hedge's has said, Donald Trump was vomited up from a decaying system.

Evolutionary forces take no holidays.

Well stated.
