The sanctioning by the Trump administration of Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur, is an ominous harbinger of the end of the rule of international law.
The slanderous poison pie offered by the criminal class (US and Israeli governments) smears truth tellers like Albanese, because she has the audacity and courage to shine the light of truth on their trickery and expose key players - naming names and business that support and profit from the ongoing genocide and starvation of the Palestinian people. They are willing to murder and silence anyone who attempts to contribute to saving them = doctors, nurses, aid groups, print and visual media, all public voices, like yours and mine, that are penalized for siding with those being victimized and eliminated - we are asked to either go along with these ongoing crimes or keep our fucking mouths shut - we are now and have been expected to PRETEND that everything is hunky dory - it clearly is not. Israel and the United States of Israel (formerly the USA) must be destroyed. Otherwise, nothing lies ahead for any of us but Full Hitler fascism. Begging and pleading with either of these Mafia-run states has and will lead precisely nowhere. They don't care what the world thinks of their serial crimes, because they know they get away with them constantly. The UN has never imposed sanctions on the US because every time the idea has been tabled, the US has vetoed the measure. The five permanent members of the security council who have this power account for roughly 54% of global GDP. If international "law" applies to them only when they feel like it (as in when it works in their interests), then it is little more than racketeering. The difference now from what was before is simply that the US seems less interested in PR'ing their way around this fact - or less competent at doing so.
Ms. Albanese is a hero. I deeply admire her courage, her brilliance, and her fight for human rights!
