The National Press Club of Australia cancelled my talk on how the media, by amplifying Israeli lies, have betrayed Palestinian journalists, 278 of whom have been assassinated by Israel.
When Chris talks about his on the ground experiences in war zones, I am grateful he was not among the dead - sorry that any journalist willing to be there was killed or injured. Imagine this world without Chris Hedges and other truth tellers like him, the few that there are. I treasure and love Chris for who he is and the message of truth he continues to deliver to those willing to listen and take to heart. I am also very grateful to those who read and comment on his offerings - we need more of this truth telling.
