It would appear that the sweetest and most vulnerable make the best life to sacrifice as with the Paschal lamb sacrificed at the first Passover in Judaism. And, of course, with Jesus. So I can’t help feeling that the Palestinians have been chosen by the Jews in power in Israel as a collective life to sacrifice for a new ‘Passing over’ to herald the arrival of Greater Israel. The Palestinians are certainly vulnerable. And whilst I’ve never been to Palestine I would suggest that from the images I’ve seen of its people on first X then Substack there is a sweetness about many of them which sits in stark contrast to the bitter mien of Israelis I have seen.

On a behavioral, social and ethical basis I have struggled to make sense of Israel’s barbarism towards the Palestinians; perhaps it’s religious, cultural and spiritual thing based on live sacrifice? If so, where does it end?

Unspeakable ! I try to talk to others about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and am met with retorts such as "...well Israel has the right to defend itself..." Then I grab onto myself so as not to fall deeper down into the Rabbit hole with them. " Have you considered that this might be overkill?" I ask.....but then it seems that Israel deems to consider the 'Value' of one Israeli citizen to be at least 50 x greater than than the life of a single Palestinian. The Nation of Israel has sacrificed the souls and humanity of its citizens on Ares altar, the God of War.

All of us in the west should feel deeply ashamed that, with the exception of Ireland, our governments are facilitating this genocide, either by selling arms to Israel, or by refusing to apply sanctions to this grasping, destructive, genocidal, apartheid nation.

They applied sanctions to apartheid South Africa, but appear to be too corrupted by the Zionist lobbies to do the right thing by the Palestinian people.

The Arab nations that have sat on their hands while this horror is enacted will regret not acting, because if they think that Israel will stop its ruthless, violent acquisition of Arab lands and resources, they are delusional.

Unless Israel is dismantled, it will remain a threat to humanity, and to world peace.

The default position of most Western Christian churches on conducting warfare is the "Just War." During a time when "barbarians" were threatening and did sack Rome, Augustine drew upon Cicero to formulate "Just War." Until that time, Christians were pacifist.

I raise Just War to say that it is theory, not practice. All wars, even if for just cause, devolve into barbarity once initiated. The United States government leadership along with its Zionist enablers is as guilty of genocidal war crimes as is Netanyahu and the IDF. As for Just War, its principles might have applicability in local police and courts, but military always exceeds JW boundaries. The genocide against Gaza people is not just immoral, or evil, but wicked. God in heaven will judge.

Chris Hedges should add an interview with Jeffrey Sachs. A perfect duo.

Please see Sachs recent session with Judge Napolitano.

We need to ask more questions about the destruction of the US constitution. War powers act, due process and why the our government is not representative of people, only oligarchs.

Interesting leak about today’s youth, whom of course don’t get their news from mainstream media.

I wonder who exactly it is that is actually detaining Mr. Andrew Tate?

Very thoughtful short essay. But tell the folks over at Counterpunch that they misspelled the word 'Genocide' in the heading..... Peace! -- ptg
