I’m so delighted to see two of my favorite, and most deeply admired, people joined in conversation.
I think of Mr. Galloway every time I hear otherwise intelligent people express ambivalence about Israel. He once said, (and I wildly paraphrase): “I no longer want to argue about Zionist behavior because it’s like arguing about the justification for rape or murder. There is none.” This week I thought about that idea often in the context of two very intelligent people whom I admire, and who shall remain nameless.
