This article has really cheered me up. I firmly believe that the US will go down as the shortest lived 'Empire' that ever existed. They don't, and won't ever, have the qualities of ancient empires (China, Iran/Persia) and their longevity or the later ones like Russia - great strength (moral too), wise and ethical. All three hold/held something sacred in their cultural, social and political being. The US holds nothing sacred, their qualities consist of bottomless greed, stupidity (no deep imagination), spitefulness and cruelty. In decades to come, no one will miss them, except maybe oddly enough, music.

General elections are coming and we need to vote out of power our bribed politicians allowing our conscience to prevail. One comment about the media. The mass media is owned by a network of interlocking corporations that also own the weapons industries as well as all other major industries in the U.S. The societal purpose of the media is to control the narratives of western culture.
The media is not the 4th estate at all any more. It is the propaganda arm of the corporate government of which we are subjects.
Chris, your final message about the North‘s warning to the South - we have everything and we’re going to keep it; try to take it away and we will kill you - is chillng but true. Your interviews, on point and succinct, just keep getting better. But scarier.
Who is the power behind AIPAC? What is it actually trying to achieve? If we had politicians willing to sacrifice their political careers to do the right thing, AIPAC would lose its power.
