It’s clear, no matter how much is written and exposed of this genocide countries and ppl seem to care less and less however, each Palestinian human soul continues their deep desire to survive and live another day. To demonstrate to the rest of us what matters… dignity and respect. For those distracted by such trivial spectacles like a multi million dollar wedding and the trappings of money and power and spectacle … they are not living. Denial is not life. Selfishly stuffing your face and pockets not admirable nor interesting.

First, the body eats its other organs, muscles mostly, nutrients to feed its brain and heart, keeping blood flowing to those two essential organs, and also protein components [amino acids] from the breakdown of muscle protein to feed the immune system which must make new cells to respond to specific pathogens.

Then the protein runs out, and either the heart eats its own muscle, with ensuing heart failure, or the immune system fails, and death is by raging pathogenic infection -- all while dealing with the insanity of sociopaths toying with your sanity in sick inhuman ways.

I can't imagine a worse way to die. Not a hell hot enough for those who starve others.

I’m sad to observe that at some point incidents of cannibalism might occur, (it’s more common than people realize: e.g.: The Donner party, after plane crashes, and shipwrecks).

I can hear now the monsters in the Knesset saying: “Look! We told you they were savages!”, and The NYTimes figuring out a way to call it antisemitic.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

I hope you're not prescient but fear you might be. As far as the Times, no distortion of reality would ever surprise me.

Judith Dyer's avatar

I do NOT think so. These are people way better than those Jews who love their misery.

To tell the truth, if I were starving, I wouldn't even eat my cat.

No effen way.

Watching Season 3 of The Squid Games....Not a pleasurable experience. I kept seeing the clever made up story of sadistic cruelty as a mirror of the real sadistic cruelty happening every minute in Gaza. Knowing that Western countries ignore it,,support it. and other countries don't say boo. Only Iran and Yemen care about these people, not because they are like them, Because they are oppressed.

At this point, as an American, I support BRICS. Israel and america should get what they deserve.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

Of course, I agree to a point. If the actual "deserving" people here in the USA would get what they deserve, the tech oligarchs who sell out to Israel, the weaponizers, all the enabler scumbags. But you see, they won't. They axe will fall -- as it always does -- on the most fragile as the empire collapses. There is NO fucking justice. And all the hopes in the direction of the deserving getting their just desserts generally come to nothing in a corrupt system where big money confers huge power. Sorry, but that's my analysis of the society in front of me.

Judith Dyer's avatar

Agree. The defenceless will suffer the most.

1. “There were times when hundreds of people had to wait in line for several days to be ‘deported,’” Marek Edelman writes..

For those not aware, Marek Edelman was the last surviving leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and was hated in Israel for pointing out that Israel aped Nazi ideology and methods.

2. Law is meaningless. Enforcement is the only thing that matters.

3. Let us not mince words. Since October 7, the United States governments and their catamites have consciously and actively assisted in genocide.

We are the Evil Empire.

marionalysia's avatar

Strange to pray for your own destruction, to know that the fall of the American Empire is the only way this ends.

Feral Finster's avatar

Besides a false dichotomy, plenty of Germans in the Third Reich prayed for the end of that regime.

Judith Dyer's avatar

nice to know.......there are always powerless people who don't go along with the program....Unfortunately, all Germans were guilty by association.

just like the good Jews in the USA: STAND UP AND MAKE NOISE!

Judith Dyer's avatar

I, am American, is all for a lot of trouble in the USA.

Kinda good I'm in Mexico, for the duration....of my life.

BUT, if I were in the USA, I would still wish it: Not Well.

Fran's avatar

Yes, we are most definitely complicit in their genocide, well the government certainly is, the only consolation is that most Americans based on poles do not approve this genocide and none of our soldiers are implementing it and shooting people in the head, killing and using food as bait. In Israel 85 percent of the their population supports it. Call those at the top America's food chain evil, but acknowledge Americans themselves are not carrying out this genocide or do they approve it.

Fran's avatar

When you said that who are you saying is paying for it? When I say that I mean our government is paying for it since most Americans have no say where their money goes.

Judith Dyer's avatar

That sure is a fact. Still; its our funds.

Fran's avatar

However they use my money without my complicity. I've certainly read about the holocaust, but on a certain level this is much worse. Maybe not as many people will die, but the way they have gone about killing them, destroying them, is so savage and heartless, and to think the Israeli public is fully aware of this savagery and approves truly disgusts me.

Judith Dyer's avatar

It's really awful.

I don't know what the % of Germans were who knew about the concentration camps. They didn't have social media and many camps were not in Germany. But, the entire population was accused for decades. with a few exceptions of those known to aid Jews to get out or hide.

America is guilty as hell .....I just real that American troops are in Gaza, helping the IDF to target those trying to get food.

The USA is putting "our boys" in a position of witnessing and taking part such depravity? Pretty much ruining them.

How revolting can it be???

Feral Finster's avatar

True enough but orders given the rulers' names are carried out.

Fran's avatar

You are side lining what I said, or being ambiguous.

Feral Finster's avatar

No, I am saying that you are correct, but it doesn't change anything.

Fran's avatar

True, but this article really made me sick in it's description of the brutality people are capable of. I almost felt I was listening to something that could only take place in hell, and I don't believe it hell, but people can lose their souls right here on earth. The barbarity was so disturbing. Well, enjoy the rest of your day.

I'm sure there are American mercenaries embedded in the IDF, and I really am appalled at our role in supplying them with the weapons to carry this out, but this horror show belongs to Israel and I will never forget that. I know many who see it for the horror show it is and hold Israel very accountable. People are afraid to express their opinions regarding this genocide since no one wants to have anti-Semite thrown in their face even if spewed by those who support this atrocity, and many will make that accusation even if they agree since we have been completely brainwashed on that account and are afraid to speak the truth of Israel's many atrocities through the decades toward the Palestinians, also many Jews in America do not support it either.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

Gotta love "catamites". Appropriately derogatory and avoids brutal street lingo.

Feral Finster's avatar

Street lingo is the least of my concerns. That said, IdPol, the politics of performatively taking offense, is one reason that the left is so impotent these days.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

True. I would've never suggested that as motivation for your usage. The left's idpol is its self-lobotomization.

I can't find who used that term! This is a problem with substacks.

Meanwhile, those, for example, Palestine Action, who try more direct action to protest these crimes, and take steps to dismantle the weapons manufacturers ability to make those weapons, are being targeted by the UK. Time may be short on this excellent documentary about Palestine Action, which may be about to be banned in the UK, and from there, most likely the film, because the UK government is trying to designate them as a terrorist organisation. You can watch the film online, but come Monday, 30 June, after the UK Parliament meets, who knows. These are y/our freedoms on the line.

I thank Chris Hedges for continuing to write about the Palestinians when most of the world's media cannot be bothered. How can they ignore a genocide in plain sight? Such a clear moral test, and we failed miserably. Biden, Trump, the UK, Germany, the UN. All limp, flaccid, and impotent.

Feral Finster's avatar

"Biden, Trump, the UK, Germany, the UN. All limp, flaccid, and impotent."

How can you say this, when all of the above are conscious willing and active participants in this evil?

marionalysia's avatar

They are not impotent. They are complicit. It is a choice. US politicians are bribed with campaign dollars to not do anything to hinder Israel's goals to empty Gaza. We supply the weapons.

I also thank Chris Hedges. Also, for those who might not be aware, Amy Goodman/Democracy Now has reported in detail on Palestine's genocide since October 7. Here is an example from a few days ago re the aide sites etc. I also like what she says at the end to other news sites in the U.S. about reporting more from and about Gaza. https://www.democracynow.org/2025/6/25/gaza_healthcare

There is little to say anymore that hasn't already been said. Because these western governments have forced us to just sit back and watch as these people all die, all we can do is try and remember this for the future. There will be a reckoning someday after they're all gone. Both Israel and the U.S. will be held accountable, although Israel will be the bearer of the greater punishment in whatever form that takes.

I may live long enough to see it and I hope I do. But for now, we the people are near helpless as we watch these hapless people fade away from starvation and bullets. The Palestinian diaspora must never let the world forget what has happened here. This genocide must remain in their history for all of the generations of the future. Much like the memories of the holocaust in Europe during WWII. All we can do is ensure our children never forget or forgive, like the young people in the U.K. during the music festival in Glastonbury last week. We must never forget of forgive.

The Murder State of Israel must be destroyed. Soon or late, but surely and absolutely.

Monsoon's avatar

It is immolating as we speak. Millions of young Jewish Israelis are leaving the country. Estimates are that over one million out of a population of 9 million, or more than ten percent have left.

And of this ninety percent, or less now, that remains the number of Israelis continue to decline while Palestinian populations grow.

More youth are leaving country and they will not come back.

There’s a reported influx of Israelis to Cyprus who are buying up whatever they see causing higher prices and leaving some Cyprians fearing an Israeli takeover as they took over Gaza. On YouTube.com

@smokygirl2006's avatar

This is gut wrenching and sickening. Having watched “The Hunger Games” quite recently, I couldn’t help but think of what the Palestinians are suffering through. And I’m supposed to celebrate the 4th of July, knowing this genocide is happening right now?! No way. I just can’t be proud of my country anymore. To think Americans are aiding and abetting the IOF in mass murdering these civilians at these aid distribution centers just sickens me. That these American contractors are made up partly of former special forces is just sickening. You mean the same forces that killed Iraqi civilians in the Iraq war? The same forces that consisted of the likes of those five scumbags who raped and then murdered a fourteen year old Iraqi girl during the so called “Operation Iraqi Freedom” bs war? These people are not human, have no hearts, no souls and I damn sure don’t want them fighting to defend what freedom we have left in this country. These a*sholes make me ashamed to be an American. Wtf were our fighting men and women defending when they were in Europe fighting the German war machine in WWll?!! The way my government/ military has been doing in the last 30 years, it looks to me that we were on the wrong side and should have been fighting along side the f*cking Nazis b/c that is what the U.S. government/military is acting like now, by supporting and actively participating in a live-streamed GENOCIDE against the Palestinians. 😢☮️🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Fran's avatar

There is almost nothing one can say about all those involved in this genocide other then in their dehumanization of the Palestinians they have dehumanized themselves and have become soulless. If there is an afterlife they have left themselves eternal death.

W.F.Miloglav's avatar

Israel is nothing less than a malevolent, satanic murder machine. It seems to me that at some point the nations of the world must join together to destroy it, as was done with Nazi Germany, even at the risk of nuclear war. To tolerate this kind of evil in our midst for much longer is to "sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age".

Selina Sweet's avatar

I want some daring anonymous journalist to assemble a Report Card listing the names of specific individuals (billionaires, millionaires, CEO's, journalists, media, Wall Streeters, clergy, corporations, politicos, neoconservatives like Blinken, government, (CIA) with and without global influence) driving support for the mass slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza, and/or the witch-hunt, condemnation, imprisonment of pro-Palestinians, anti-war, anti-Zionist, anti-Colonialist protesters - in short driving the cancellation of free speech, free assembly, and academic freedom in the USA and of international law and regulations. The vacuum of information that blanks out the identity of these "determiners" of mass slaughter and international lawlessness allows and intensifies the rape of accountability, mutual trust in "right relations", ethics and morality rendering fealty to the essence of civilization a fiction. The frigid viciousness of the hatred of these individuals constitutes a nuclear bomb sized impact on the health and soul-beingness of the entire earth. Just as x-rays are taken of a brain to keenly locate where the cancer is found so the proper, life-saving processes can be brought to effectively stop its influence, so we world citizens require an acute picture of who exactly are driving the conditions of our ultimate demise.

A spouse of a Paloma or Aztec dove - lovely, streamlined, so gentle modest looking birds who forage mostly on the ground in Oaxaca, was eaten by (likely) an eagle two nights ago. The spouse calls and calls for her mate- all day. This breaks my heart. In an outsized way. So disturbing. It’s Nature gifting me with a living metaphor for the Israeli/USA slaughter of the meek and mild Palestinians in Gaza. The eagle is forgiven. The Israelis? Americans? For such vicious unforgivable hatred?

Fran's avatar

Israel has a long and ugly history when it comes to the lives of Palestinians, I do not, and all that I know do not, and most Americans do not support this genocide. Yes our government is very complicit in this satanic slaughter of a people. I will never forgive and haven't in the past Israel's many crimes against the population of Palestine and I don't forgive those in power in the US past and present who have destroyed others in our many lying wars, or the deadly atrocities they have implemented world wide. Don't throw me in with this lot, and I think we have to be careful not to do that.

Selina Sweet's avatar

yes, indeed...distinctions are very important, as details can be...thank you Fran for your advise...

Fran's avatar

Thanks Selina, I in no way want to be in that crowd, and I'm glad most American's don't, and hope this is a lesson to all that those in power should not define who we are or what we should do, or believe. I had an uncle who was reading an article he angrily disagreed with and he turned to me and said because it's in print doesn't make it true and it's up to you to determine what is true or not. I thought it was a good idea, but really uncomfortable about it because I hadn't learned to read yet.

It is absurd to "like" this story of horror and evil. Good people say "never again" when they think of holocaust or systematic murdering of indigenous peoples, but when they are again confronted by the same reality as in Gaza/Palestine - this time by Zionist Jews who seek land above God, then they again say "never again" - so we are normalising colonization's deadly terminal. Not even the historic victims seem able to resist the opportunity to steal land by killing people. God, help us!
