Hi Chris, you once wrote, “Love will endure, even if it appears darkness has swallowed us all, to triumph over the wreckage that remains.” It’s one of my favorite quotes and I find it deeply meaningful. As society watches this darkness led by the U.S. and Israel spread undeterred, do you see love eventually prevailing?
Hi Chris: What do you think of Trump and Hegseth's "new" Department of War? I for one appreciate its honesty, since U.S. military actions are never about "defense." Thanks.
Since Israel could easily cut internet and communications from Gaza if they wished, it is clear that they are allowing the world to witness the ethnic cleansing and genocide.
Is this a massive social experiment, are they trying to normalize these types of events, what do you see as the motive and the bigger picture?
Do you find more parallels with the current US regime with Nazi Germany or the splintering of Yugoslavia? And how does the sheer incompetency of the Trump white house potentially alter our trajectory?
It’s clear that the powers that be are no longer able to manage “public opinion” - with the Epstein scandal and plummeting support for Israel being obvious examples.
In your opinion, doesn’t this have massive downstream effects on how power will be distributed in the future? Isn’t it too late for them to put the genie back in the bottle at this point?
What is your response to Michael Tracey’s August 10th email to your show about Nick Bryant in which he (Tracey) claims that many of Bryant’s statements on your show were “provably false”?
How can we force change and put and end to the tyranny, greed, and money in our government? Waving sings, praying, and voting won’t do it. I don’t see signs of a happy ending and I am concerned things will get much worse.
The Christian far right is depicting use of "do unto others" and "love thine enemies" as dangerous ploys by lib scolds. Because even the devil can quote scriptures. Thus to have empathy for bad people is to consort with evil, so religious authorities and their pol allies will tell you who's bad. Any comments?
I'm leaving because if feels risky to stay as it'll just be a matter of time until they're rounding up people speaking against the regime. If there was any effective fight to join maybe I wouldn't. But I don't see any in the rural area I live in. Do you think any clandestine resistance is operating? If not what might be the tipping point or will we all go quietly?
With the administration deploying troops and ramping up ICE enforcement, how can momentarily “safe” (or more so less totalitarian) prepare to effectively ensure the dignity of those most targeted?
Chris thank you for the opportunity to make a comment. Here’s my question that perhaps is on many other minds and hearts:
Israel will no doubt succeed in encircling a million remaining Palestinians in a tiny open-air concentration camp in which living inhabitants will ‘live’ in tents. So (a) what then? Will terrorist ‘settlers’ FINISH THE JOB? And (b) how will Americans learn to look past this? I believe we’ve lost all moral authority and highground
Of interest to me this week is the killing of 11 alleged drug runners in international waters. It looks to me that having successfully defied the Constitution and domestic laws of the United States Trump is deliberately breaking international law and defying the "international community" to do anything about it.
Thank you for all you do. Could you speak about the role Arab rulers have played since October 7, and how their actions—or inactions—have shaped the current situation?
Chris, when the public remains apathetic to systemic crimes — Gaza, economic plunder, the intelligence state hollowing liberty — how do you reconcile what feels so obvious with society’s indifference? And for yourself, how do you resist despair and hold on to meaning without becoming numb?

TXM interesting that my post is consistent with yours. 😢
Hello Chris,
Based on the South Africa precedent how long do you think it will take for the Apartheid regime in Israel to collapse?
Thanks

Once the inevitable escalation from the administration occurs, that is.

Chris would you consider running for President in 2028 with the Green Party? You are the conscience of America, and she badly needs to listen to you.
That’s the best question here, Alexander
Thank you.
