Megan Divine in her excellent work on grief, It's Okay That You're Not Okay offers this gem: "Love is not enough, but it is all that we have." We cannot reverse our mortality or the ills of this world, but love alone will carry us and enable us to carry the inevitable burdens as well.

I learned long ago that love and hate are not opposites. Good and Evil are not opposites.
It relates to what Niels Bohr said about truth. “Simple truths state things that are empirically true. Deep truths are truths that are not only true, but the opposite is also true.”
And I say that love exists on a completely separate plane from hate, and from evil. Hatred is simple. Love is light and at the same time, love is shade.
The Evil that’s coming from Israel is not the opposite of love, it’s the opposite of life. No amount of love can conquer it; it must perish from its own weight.
I am grateful and honoring that you are carrying the burden of evil for all of us. You don't stop or shy away when I am overwhelmed daily by grief. I believe love is enough but that doesn't stop evil from fighting against it every minute. Bless you Chris.

If I were to guess, I think it means that those who impose destructive control on the people are impervious to love, disdainful of compassion.
Otherwise known as psychopaths.
